BLU Synthetic 5W-30 Technician Series LS2-FS is a 2nd generation top-tier engine lubricant that meets an extensive range of European automaker and industry specifications, for both gasoline and light-duty diesel engines. This full synthetic 5W-30 engine lubricant is designed specifically to extend the life of the latest after-treatment systems. It provides:

  • Low Emissions. Sulfated Ash, Phosphorus, and Sulfur (SAPS) can foul emission systems such as catalytic converters, diesel particulate filters (DPF), and exhaust gas re-circulation (EGR). The low level of SAPS in this lubricant helps keep emission systems performing optimally.
  • Fuel Economy. Low-viscosity design and a unique friction-reducing formulation helps reduce internal drag, so users get more miles per liter/gallon. And less fuel means lower emissions.
  • Long engine life. This lubricant supports new engine designs, advanced emission systems, and new low-sulfur fuels, all of which create more severe operating conditions. BLU engine lubricants are specifically designed to prevent oxidation, keep engines clean and minimize wear in today’s engines, which run hotter because of cramped engine bays, smaller sumps, turbo-charging, super-charging, variable timing, and other engineering advances.
  • Excellent low temperature viscosity promotes quick start-up full lubrication, for minimal start-up engine wear and longer engine life.
  • Excellent antiwear protection in high-speed and high-temperature operations.
  • Excellent detergency and dispersancy keeps dirt and combustion byproducts in solution—minimizing sludge and deposits—for trouble-free engine operation.
  • Superior antioxidancy. Our high-quality synthetic base stock resists thickening to maintain quick startup, minimal oil consumption, and reduced emissions over time.
  • Excellent seal compatibility prevents leaks or embrittlement that could lead to engine failure.
  • Extensive application coverage, gasoline and light-duty diesel applications. Stock BLU lubricants and you won’t need to maintain a million-dollar inventory to service a broad range of vehicles arriving at their service depot.
