MV: Multi-Vehicle Coverage
FS: Full Synthetic

BLU Synthetic CVT Technician Series MV-FS was developed to address a growing market for CVT applications throughout North America, Europe, and Asia. This ultra high performance CVT fluid replaces more than 15 different OEM fluids and is formulated utilizing synthetic base stocks and high performance additives to meet or exceed the performance requirements of the latest generation of Continuously Variable Transmissions (CVTs), which transfer traction via steel-made traction chains or push-belts. Benefits include:

  • Superior Wet Clutch Performance as compared to the Nissan fluid, which means improved anti-shudder durability, less noise, vibration and harshness.
  • Superior Metal-to-Metal Wear Protection as compared to both the Nissan and Honda fluids.
  • Oxidative and Thermal Stability prevents oil thickening, deposit formation, and harmful acidic by-products to protect components, maintain effective heat transfer, increase efficiency, and reduce risk of seal leakage.
  • Friction Anti-Shudder Stability ensures smooth engagement (metal-to-metal friction) with no shudder, longer clutch life, and enhanced driver comfort.
  • Strong Anti-Foam characteristics when compared to other chain CVT fluids.
  • Low Pour Point ensures consistent shifting in cold temperatures.
  • Beneficial Environmental Impact through improved component life, reduced oil leakage, and better fuel economy.
  • Broad Range of Performance to meet multiple OEMs requirements, while reducing inventory and the risk of misapplication.

Product NOTE

  • Excluding Hybrid CVT Applications
  • Do not use in Automatic Transmission (AT), Manual Transmission (MT), or Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT).
  • Always consult vehicle owner’s manual for the correct continuous variable transmission fluid specification and drain interval period.
