50:50 Premixed (No Mixing Required)

BLU hybrid organic acid technology (HOAT) coolant is formulated with a proprietary stabilization system to improve the durability of its carboxylate salt base and extend its range of compatibility with both conventional inorganic salts and OAT-type antifreezes. BLU coolant contain no phosphates, borates, nitrates, or silicates and provide a service life up to 250,000 km, or 2,000 hours, or five years, whichever comes first. This extended life coolant possesses multiple complex carboxylic acid derivatives along with nitrite to protect all six standard metal alloys (brass, copper, steel, solder, cast iron and aluminum). These low foaming carboxylates and additives, plus other proprietary ingredients, not only provide broad-range metal protection but also guard the cooling system against corrosion and cavitation-erosion. In addition it contains additives to minimize hot surface scaling while also preventing heat transfer surface fouling due to minor oil leakage. Special Notes:

Water Quality
Water quality not only affects the rust/corrosion inhibitors in some anti-freezes, but it may contribute to electrolytic corrosion in the cooling system, which can produce deposits that affect coolant flow and heat transfer. And if the water is very hard, certain anti-freeze inhibitors (particularly phosphates) may react with the calcium and magnesium (and even iron) in hard water to produce deposits that add to the coolant flow and heat transfer problem

Mixing Coolant Technologies
When mixing a non-extended life coolant with an extend life coolant, the recommended coolant change interval will degrade to that of that of the shorter life coolant. To maintain coolant quality and working life, completely flush the cooling system prior to filling with new coolant.

  • This product is dyed yellow, which allows it to be used as top-up in any automobile or light duty truck application without changing the existing coolant color.
  • Always consult vehicle owner’s manual for the correct coolant/antifreeze fluid specification and drain interval period.
  • Do not mix coolant beyond 60%
